if it were me i would DEFNITELY go to that vet (or any vet) that chilisweet suggested before i did anything!

If you still have the chiken, do a search on Prolapsed Vent. I went thru it last summer & all turned out ok!! It has never come back, & she's fine! I put my info on this website for anyone to have when needed.

I did do that and she prolapsed again, but I did the same thing, treated her and such and she is back with the flock again. Doing GREAT! Thank you so much.
