My beloved hen sharron has been acting funny. Today is DAY 3. I thought it was just the heat.. then I thought it was potential egg binding because she ISNT EATING OR DRINKING and had some REALLY RUNNY DROPPINGS . I felt around her abdomen and there's not sign of egg. Today as I was about to feed her, with a syringe and baby food, I noticed SPIT/MUCUS all over her face, beard and throat. I didnt see it as much yesterday. I thought it was just where I was feeding her. She is very lethargic. She moves every now any then to hop up on the side of her basket I have her in or to situate herself. What do I do.

How is Sharron doing?

Is her crop empty in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink?

Thankfully she is still alive. She hopped out of her box and ran around the yard yesterday... but then she started falling over again and I brought her back inside. Yes her crop is empty every morning. She has diharea, I'm assuming it's because she's eating baby food and not something hard.

Does she stay with her head hung over like that all the time?
In addition to offering wet feed and egg as @Eggcessive suggested, I would try getting some vitamins that contain E and B1 into her. Poultry Cell contains those or you can use human Vitamin E (400IU) and B-Complex (1/4 tablet).

How old is Sharron? Can you see any bubbles or drainage in her eyes or on her nostrils? Has there been any sneezing? Can you offer some chicken feed mixed in some water and add a little scrambled egg?
She's only about a year old. Maybe a year and half now. I haven't seen anything in her eyes. I've cleaned out her nose a few times but I'm not sure if it was draining or from where I was holding her beak to feed her. No sneezing that I've seen. Today the mucus isn't as prominent and she has been moving a bit more. Tried to preen her butt, but she fell asleep in the middle of it. I haven't tried to give her any chicken feed yet because I've been syringe feeding her, and I didn't want it to get clogged up. I did offer her some water and food but she just fell asleep. She didn't bother with the left over veggie salad we made for all of them either. I will try it though.

I don't let her hang like that, she had just stood up and then fell over. She usually is laying down, I had her head propped up with the white towel to make sure she could still breathe. When we come in the room she'll lift her head and look around but usually with eyes closed. We held her, to try to feed her, and she started flapping around and tried to get away. I will look into the vitamins. We only have buchiets near us, should I order it? Or just use the people vitamins? We gave our duckling niacin for her legs before.. we just always seem to have special birds. I'm also treating 2 for bumble foot. They're all spoiled rotten, before Sharron would run up to me, like all of them, and eat scrambled eggs off of a fork.

Okay. I started her on the vitamins, and I grinded up some of the chicken food and mixed it in with the baby food. She's starting to get used to being fed and opens her beak when I hold the top of it. She seems to be doing better except her eye was crusted shut today. I cleaned it off and she opened it right away. Is there any way she'll make It through this? I mean I'm not going to put her down as long as she's still trying but i don't want to get my hopes up.

Look for bubbles if there is eye drainage. Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic ointment are okay to put into the eye twice a day, after cleaning with a wet cloth or flushing the eye with saline.

What is the point of this? Is it to help from the eye getting crusted open? I'm just trying to learn for future reference. Do you guys know what's wrong with her? Is it likely she'll pull through?
