My 9 year old Buff Orpington hen recently got attacked by three roosters. there was a breach in the "old and young chickens" enclosure. it wasn't serious, a little blood on the comb and face, other hens had been okay after much worse. I disinfected the wounds and put her in a large cage with food and water. the next morning she was apparently discoordinated. she looked dizzy and slowly walked around. i put her into a smaller walk-in enclosure and attempted to feed her. she was very interested in the corn i offered her. she weakly pecked at it, and missed by about 2 inches. i opened her mouth and put a kernel in and she swallowed it. i left her on the chicken porch with other old hens and fed her more corn before i put her back into cage before nightfall. today i did the thing as yesterday, but now she sits with her legs in front of her like a person. there's no physical sickliness visible. i'm scared of forcing water into her beak because i've had hens choke before. what should i do?

Electrolyte water mixed with some feed or maybe oats will help get some fluids in her. Offer some hard boiled egg. I don't think she has brain damage. Just went through a tramatic event but sounds like she was lucky. I'd continue what your doing now: keep her separated for a while and watch her. She needs rest, hand feed food + water and some time. If no improvement in a few days wouldn't hurt to have a vet check her out. Good luck :)
