From the treatment, and her response to it, it looks like Quackers had an internal infection, and was likely calcium depleted. I am not sure that one always comes before the other. I pray that our understanding of egg yolk peritonitis expands so we can save more ducks. Early detection would be a great blessing. Something we could test from a fecal sample, maybe.YAY!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
