Any assistance for swollen and abscessed uropygial gland. I have provided supportive care with no effect. Anyone have a mechanical device or other knowledge to reduce swollen gland and promote healing?

Can you post a few clear pictures of the area? Is the bird picking at himself or are others pick at it?

No, she is not picking herself and she is hatching eggs right now - eating and pooping and was even laying eggs prior to brooding...
