This is just a heads up for those folks who aren't concerned with being RFIDed by the feds (like they have the money...).

The USDA/APHIS has lots material/info available for FREE (calendars to biosecurity DVDs in various languages). You can put your order in for the 2009 calendar and stuff, now, and probably receive it by the first of the year.

They do slip in other species of birds, but always have great shots of Chooks (May 2006 for instance).

I couldn't click on that site, it gives a security warning....

Thanks Ivan, but I went through the front door and clicked on what you said and I kept getting warnings upon warnings.

So I will be safe and not go there, thank you anyway.

Better safe than sorry.

Carole, I hope they write back! IE6 allows one to accept the certificate and click through (if one examines certificate properties it shows up as O.K.). As the site has has been doing this since 2004 I doubt they'll change.

However, for anyone has a good color printer almost all their info is available as downloadable PDF's (no need to validate on ORDER). 2008 calendar is still available - along with everything else.

I just wonder why the DHS is still allowing goverment websites to use 512 bit encryption on their certs instead of 1024.
