My cats pretty much ignore birds, except the young one DOES watch the doves. He can't catch them though (yet) ... he thinks he can make a sprint for them from 20 yards away and get there before they take off, LOL.

That is just like one of my cats I had when I was younger, he was laying on the kitchen counter (yes, my cats would get on the counter) and he was bathing himself. My dad had pulled out the dishwasher to work on it. In came a mouse, the cat watched it go over to his food bowl, take food and go back through the dishwasher hole. I've never laughed so hard. At that moment we knew our cats had it too good and were fed way too much!
