Somehow while searching on the web I came across this. I think that this would be a good idea as a coop, but you might wanna change and/ add a few other detail. It's very detailed and provides picture of the progress being made.

Very heavy duty construction for a chicken coop. And it looks like it would only cost a million dollars.

Heck, if we could afford to build something like that, my husband would have already built it for his (little) telescope and NO WAY would he be letting my *chickens* into it! [IMG]

Holy crap! He should have got into chickens. Would have been cheaper.

Cool observatory, but I think it's kind of funny that he went to all this trouble to construct the perfect building with retractable roof, making sure it was wired for power and broadband but didn't insulate the walls or put in heat. He lives in New England.

Not much point in putting in heat or insulation if you're going to take the roof off every time you use it.

    Fascinating construction project though.

Quote:Um, you can't heat an observatory like that. Otherwise the heat rising out of the open roof plays havoc with your viewing with your telescope. So, must be unheated if roof will open.

And of course if it is going to be unheated there is no point in insulation.
