My friend called me about a sick chicken needing help. Chicken is a 12 week old Americana pullet. Symptoms are crackly open mouth gaspy breathing, mucus, swollen eyes with one eye exhibiting bubbles. My diagnosis was MG based on symptoms. I started treating her with Tiagard. She won't eat or drink on her own so I've been feeding her with a syringe. It has been 24 hours with no appreciable change. I have ordered some Doxy-Tyl but it won't be here for a few days.

I do have some Fish-Mox on hand. My question is, can I give her amoxicillan while also using Tiagard just to cover all bases until the Doxy-Tyl arrives? Other suggestions?

From what I've read online they should not be used together and there should be waiting period of atleast 24-48hrs before alternating.
I have a silkie hen dealing with a respiratory sickness as well.
