Using bread when deworming?

Can you weigh a few the guesstimate the ones you can't grab?

Weight is pretty important.
You do not want to under dose them.
It won't work.

So here's what I've got:
Babies are all around 2 lb
RIR(x2): 6 lb
BPR: 6 lb
WPR(x2): 7.5 lb
Welsummer: 4.5 lb
Cochin: 8 lb
Polish: 4.5 lb
Sumatras(x3): 4 lb
Egyptian: 3.5 lb
EE: 4.5 lb
The x2 and x3 is just to show how many I have of that breed
Like I said, I'll need to wait until tonight to weigh my roo

I've heard from some people that you can put dewormer in a peice of bread instead of injecting it into their mouths. Will this work or will it lower the effectiveness of the dewormer? I'm using safeguard plus btw, haven't bought it yet so I'm still unsure about how to use it.
I tried this very thing about a week ago with one of my chickens. It initially grabbed the bread, went about 4 ft, and dropped the bread. Stood there looking at me like, "what am I supposed to do with this"? Wouldn't touch it.

Ended up putting a pea sized bit on her beak. She smacked around and got the majority of it down, must have tasted decent because once she got a taste for it, she swallowed it easy.

Hmm, so I guess if the bread doesn't work I'll need to just do it the old-fashioned way...

Yes, but do not use the "pea size" amount, which is 0.25-0.3 ml unless you have one that needs that much. With the paste *you* have a 5 pound bird gets ~0.16 ml.
