Using Chicken Run fence as a trellis for climbing food plants?

Refried beans on the vine, anyone!?

I don't have an electric fence, so I am able to grow just about anything I want up the fence using it as a trellis. Like most things I have around the house, I try to maximize the use I get out of it. If I can grow plants up the chicken wire fence while at the same time protecting the chickens, that's a twofer in my book.
