I have a chicken that hangs his head and falls asleep fast, watery eyes. I was told to treat with corid...i have the powder form and I'm unsure on how to mix, any ideas?

How old is your chicken?
Can you post some photos of the watery eyes?
Does he have any symptoms of respiratory illness like coughing, sneezing, mucous from the nostrils?

Are you planning on using the Corid as an antibiotic for treating respiratory illness? Corid is a Coccidiostat that only treats Coccidiosis overload. While it is safe to use and won't hurt your chicken, I do wonder about the symptoms you describe. Symptoms of Coccidiosis overload include lethargy, loose stools with mucous or blood, loss of balance, huddling/having a fluffed up appearance and going off feed.

Watery eyes sound respiratory. While a chicken can have both at the same time, each has a different treatment.

Regardless...Corid dosage for treating Coccidiosis is 1 1/2 teaspoons Corid powder or 2 teaspoons of 9.6% Corid liquid per gallon of water. Give for 5-7 days - make sure this is the ONLY water available during that time period. Mix a fresh batch at least once a day.
