Using diapers to pack hatching eggs?

A friend of mine received eggs in baby diapers, and it seemed to work fine, but not my favorite pack job. And I would think diapers would be way to expensive.

I do the same as @Mosey2003 individually bubble wrap each, packed in pine shavings. Of course add more shavings on top of this:

Maybe this will help, I just received some shipped eggs. She went above and beyond with her shipping but all my eggs were intact!
