Using rabbit feeder for the chickens.

I bought a rabbit feeder today thinking it was a cool chicken feeder it looks like this

hut mine does not have a mesh bottoms it's metal all the way around. What do you think about using these for poultry?

They will work just fine. Maybe be a little more mess where they pick through it and nuzzle food around, but other than that will work.
