using sav-a-chick on pigeons

i use sav-a-chick on all my chickens when its hot and when i bring home new ones since it says during times of stress on the package i figured that introducing them to a new place is pretty a stressful time so can i use it on pigeons for the same reasons or can it hurt or is it unneccesary

That "Save a Chick" seem like a sort of Gatoraid for chickens. It is not available in my area. I attached a link for anyone not familiar with the product..

yea thats basicly all it is but in the summer it helps them stay hydrated and during other stressful times
