Using vinegar when combing coveys

Moved the final bunch from the grow out on wire into the aviary. Misted everybody with the 50/50 mix of vinegar & water. Used plain distilled white vinegar. Seems to have worked great. Thanks for the tip!

Now everybody has a permanent home for the winter. What a relief, on Saturday I found a hawk hanging on and all over the grow out hutch. The little guys really weren't happy.

We have at least 4 nesting hawks with young(now nearly grown) in the small woods behind my house, they’ve never gotten down to dog range though, they know better.
