We all have a lot of things we wish the USPS did (like have better tracking available) and things we are happy the USPS does (like allow shipping of eggs and birds) so why not do a survey if given the oppotunity?

If you regularly are on USPS.com like I am to print shipping labels, get shipping rate quotes, or track packages, you will probably have a survey request pop up like I have many times. I always just click out of them because I'm sick of pop ups! Then I decided I should give my feedback and I'm really glad I did. I told them all the things I was happy about, but I also said the things I think they could do better. Perhaps they could increase revenue if gave additional options for detailed tracking or other services. I was happy to find comment boxes and the option to leave your email for future survey requests.

Remember, it's not a good idea to complain about everything and lose the option to ship birds and eggs, but constructive feedback could really help, especially if it's not just coming from me!

Yes! Many times this household has grumbled when shipments are lost or mishandled....

But just last week, my son's Xbox came 2 days early! I was so impressed! Clearly, I think a pat on the back was in order....

I reading the USPS is cutting back on first class letters, talking about cutting Saturday delivery, cutting cost and other money saving measures, I can't help but wonder if it's not going to affect the parcel delivery? They are going downhill some what. I know, some of you work for the post office, but that doesn't fix the problem.

You're right, the USPS is in serious trouble and is having to do a lot of cut backs which they've pushed back until after the holidays. This includes closing many post offices, consolidating processing centers, reducing days mail delivers, and it will impact us.

I'm nervous to find out how it's going to go.
I am happy to know they are frequently putting these surveys out on their website to figure out what people want and need. I just wish I'd started doing them sooner. I think it's a great idea to give the feedback of things that are going good and bad, as well as ideas on what you would pay more for. They need to find ways to cut costs and increase revenue. Our suggestions could help - never know, but I figure it doesn't hurt to try. For example, I would pay more money to ship if given the option of having detailed tracking. When I'm shipping live birds or eggs, I really want to know where they are in transit. I don't like the bad feeling when I see "misrouted" but I have no idea if they got misrouted to the wrong town or the wrong state across the country, unless I call and wait on hold to get a customer service person.
Overall, I like the service and hope that we could make an impact on the changes they are making.
