You are not going to believe this.... a friend is posting all over Facebook about two Horizon shipping boxes in memphis TN taht has lost their shipping labels!

Wow, crazy. Hopefully they will be turned over to a humane society or somebody who can care for them while the mess gets straightened out.

Just heard that these boxes contained ducks and the destination address has been found!

so glad the situation was resolved on a happy note. Years ago my friend (Chicago suburb) had a bird coming from NY. It hip hopped everywhere even making an appearance in Arizona before ending up at her post office. The bird had no food in the box because it was supposed to arrive before NOON the next day. It took 4 days and a lot of TLC to bring it around. It was overnight express and their guarantee used to be just for return of shp. charges. USPS does NOT insure birds.

Nowadays I see they don't even guarantee the next day delivery either. My thoughts on shipping,

"Expect the worst. Hope for the best." Put food in with the bird because you never know how long it will be stuck in transit.
