I think I have another one that isn't going to make it. At first it was 2, but after a dosing of honey water and electrolytes one of them perked right up. The other is just lethargic.

Congrats, they are cute! You can upload videos to BYC's Gallery.Yeah it's over my head and I'm in IT lol. You just have to load to another site first and then put the link in here. You Tube or something like that.... Vimeo.
Stress for you as well. They are now back in Syracuse. Wonder if they will make it to Utica by tomorrow. Hope the Utica office calls me to pick up rather than throwing them in the delivery van. The Utica office doesn't show a phone number, just the 800. I will call the local office in the morning and see if they can contact the Utica office. Poor babies. So much stress.
That is awful! I had mine sit for 2 days, and not sure why, I get packages way faster in general, but then the chicks, they just leave! I lost 3, they shipped Tuesday! I'm working on nursing another, hoping she'll make it! Hope you didn't lose too many.Glad most of your chicks made it. USPS is horrible. I was going to go the chick route myself but my first order from Meyer Hatchery didn't work out because of weather, they cancelled all shipped orders for that week. So I decided to go a different one, by hatching my own. Been ordering a few different breeds, and my latest, also Barnevelders, has really been messed up by USPS. I hope they are packaged well because they've been everywhere except my house.

First why head east to Shreveport LA then back to Dallas TX? Oh well, they flew out from Dallas but that is when things went weird. They made it to Bham AL on 2/27 and have been seemingly going in circles and was even supposedly out for delivery Saturday 3/1 but are now back in Bham?!?
Lol, I've given up completely on mailed eggs (or chicks). Just had an Ebay seller send out a replacement batch of eggs (because they mistakenly mixed some Jersey Giants in with what I bought, Bielefelders). My package was scheduled to arrive this past Monday (3/31) but it sat in Louisville KY until Thursday. It then was scanned in at Birmingham AL last night and said it then departed that facility later last night. It is now stuck in limbo again, probably still at the distribution center or going to some other state. The eggs will be likely be a total loss. That is awful!
