Utah!

Sundance, I was awake during the wee hours of the morning and thought, "Hmmm, did she hatch peafowl? Naaah." I will laugh if it's guinea keets you've got ready to hatch.

Heard there are some fellow hatchaholics over hear in the wild and crazy UT section, yeah!! Mind if I join the midnight maddness hatching party?

Currently finishing up Black Wyandotte Bantams and still chugging along on OEGB.

You kids getting any of these lovely Idaho smoke over there?

If anyone is going to hatch peafowl, it'll be me!!!

Chickenhill, feel free to join our party!!! I'm noticing some smoke here, but I'm in northern utah. I have 7 eggs in my bator- four lavender ameraucanas, a patridge rock, and two more that are either GLW or RIR. Dad to all is a FBCM.

Sundance, I do not know why this is my reaction, but I feel like racing down to our CAL and tyring to snap up the last ones if any are left ! I have chicken math so bad. ugh.
Well hope you find your camera soon. What kind did you just hatch? How many did ya get? We need the exciting details....

They were mutt chickens from Ann. The broody hen hatched 3 and I bator hatched 4 really cute the dad is a Americana and moms are leghorns, Americanas and a brown egg layer.

Isn't there a show in UT a couple times a year? Never showed before....Would be great frosting to visiting the family.

So the heat is really starting to get to me this summer. I need a vacation from the heat. So we are going to take one this week! Going to LaJolla,California. The beach will be cooler. It should only be in the 70's there. I'm so ready for it. So excited we will be leaving on Wednesday.

Our daughter and family will be staying here to take care of our dog and chickens. So I won't have to worry.

So I thought I would post some pictures of the two week old chicks. They are still up for grabs if any want them.

Two if the Icelanics and one of the mixes.

Enjoying watermelon .
