Ok, looking for SHANNELLE! This is the place SHANNELLE~ If you are looking, here we are!!!

Talked with a cute young lady that lives down by Richfield..I think that's where she is at. And she said she would come join us. She is going to get on later...She has one of my Swedish Flowers. I have one of her non NN's.

Greetings in advance to Shannelle! I must have one of her Non NN too then, yes? She needs to come on and help us out with gender ID.

I have a lady coming to get my Polish boy and another.....looking for pullets at POL, if anybody has any close to Logan for sale. She is from Alabama, visiting Jackson Hole, coming to Logan for birds from my KSL ad....crazy drive huh! She really likes that Silver Laced boy. I wish I had some girls to send back with her just to make it worth her while to drive all the way here. LF only she said...let me know if any of you Cache valley folks have any you are selling :)

Speaking of Polish, my blue girl is teasing again.....how many days can she sit there before she finally lays?? Is it possible to go broody BEFORE they start to lay? It seems strange, I have not had one sit this much before starting.

Red, pretty funny about your turkey flying over, I did not know they could get off the ground like that! It would be fun to see updated pics.

Lisa, no, that NN you have is from my first hatch. It was the only one to hatch non Naked..:p and, Shannelle's is the only one to hatch non naked.
Shannelle says these can be feathered sexed pretty easily. That's how I did it..hope I am right. Sounds like the Swedish can also be feathered sexed pretty easily too. So, crossing fingers I saw them right when I did them for aravris. I know that I thought your splash was a girl for sure..for a long time! I looked at mine today, and she is looking she ~ still. Again. lol..thought girl, then boy, now girl again, but still thinking girl today. Big comb, just not much in wattles ~ yet.

I have Welsummers in lock down now. Tomorrow, I will have light Sussex and Lav. Orpington's...Lisa's favorite bird... in lock down.

Early welcome to Shanelle!!

Lisa, I've been taking photos and video of the game preserve residents. I just need my laptop to be working again, and I can upload a bunch of stuff. I think I'm going to try to get a couple of fun videos of these guys. I've got a pumpkin that needs to go out to them, and I'd also like to see if I can show just how jealous the turkeys get when I have a chicken on my lap. Don't worry, no one gets hurt. Except poor mama. I get poked in the eye, whacked in the face, scratched all over, and have mud and poo wiped on my pants. Yes, this is what you can expect when you get close and cozy with your chickens

UPDATE:::

The second part of the coop was finished enough today to move some birds in, WOO-HOO!!! Yes, I took some pics with my phone, but it takes forever to get them off my phone, don't worry, I promised I would show pics, and I will, haha...

I just moved around the birds that were already there and will take some more over in a couple of days... My mom's hens slowed down their laying, I'm not surprised with all the hub-ub, moving pens, adding new birds, hammering, stapling, pounding, poor things I'm surprised they've laid any eggs!!

Cynthia, so 2 different hatches eh? I cannot keep track of all the birds you hatch lol. Yes orps and wyandottes are on my naughty list....haha :)

Red, sounds like fun to me! I think I always have chicken crud on me lol I had rolled up my pants to go out the other day, the grass was wet....and then a few hours later I realized and unrolled them, all kinds of goodies tumbled out of the cuff. Yucky goodies ! Another true sign of a chicken geek.

Just for Lisa, here's a picture from the Tough Mudder. In this shot, I am crawling through live wires. It's 10,000 volts in those strings hanging down, and seemed to be set up similar to an electrified fence- having the zap run through the wires every few seconds. Being in the water seemed to magnify the zaps. This obstacle really was kind of miserable. Several of my teammates reported losing consciousness extremely briefly after being zapped.

R U NUTs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
