Yes, just one..lol..I did get one last year, and so far only one. Hope it stays that way, I have some more eggs going in for the hatch a long. That lady came through for me, she sent me 11 eggs. Barred Rock, but they are Blue Barred Rock. And, my Welsummer eggs came too. Those eggs are soo pretty! I love the ones that have the large speckles.
I have more Olive Eggers coming, so determined to get that olive egg this year. And some EE's again. She had white ones! Love those. I hope I get a few..girls. And, she threw in more eggs..olive eggs..lol..and cochin eggs for 10 dollars extra..that included the extra 4.50 it would cost to ship. Wow. I had written her before her eggs were done being big on, had asked her if they would go out by Wed. She didn't answer until the time was up. That's when she wrote me asked if I still wanted them. Then she started throwing in more eggs, for just a small amount..I have been wanting a splash LF cochin. Or a splash Ameraucana. She says she is getting splashes out of the cochin eggs..we shall see.
That baby EE is darling Lisa, nice big muff, just the way you like it! Didn't see any of those at our Cal Ranch. I haven't been to IFA yet down here since they have started selling them. Best not!

Well I'm behind a ways, but I wanted to share before I go to bed. I candled the eggs under my broody girl tonight. At least three of them are developing! My cracked egg is one of them. In another egg, I saw a "G" shape wiggling around, and in another egg, I could see the chick's eye right up by the shell

Two of the eggs were clear, though. I've got a pretty good idea now that the brightest white eggs belong to my one psycho pullet, because the boys can hardly ever get a hold of her. These must be her eggs.

My expiration date is expired for today, and I'm starting to go yucky. Good night, all. Sleep good.

Corvidae, I am so sorry for your losses. What a rotten day for you. You will get some Isbars, I promise! I have a story in the making. My friend is hatching some of my eggs under her broody. I gave her 7. Four ended up dying along the way (they got pecked by her other hens). They're supposed to hatch Sunday night. Today I went over there to help her get a second coop set up and move her broody over there so the babies would be safe. While we were doing that, another hen managed to lay a monster egg (seriously, it was one of the biggest eggs I've ever seen) right on top of the eggs. One of them pretty much shattered. We thought it was a goner, but we could see some movement through the membrane, so we stuck it in my incubator. I still think it'll die, but at least we tried, right?

Sphinx I hope all will go well and it will hatch! Corvidae I am sorry for your losses :-(

The last 2 days my broody has been pooping liquid. Just clear water and it stinks! I was giving her vitamins in her water. She seems OK except if she poops in the nest box she gets right up and trys to get someones attention. As soon as i clean it up she goes right back to her eggs. This is the first time this has happened with my broody's. I emptied the vitamin water and have gave her clean water no additives. Has anyone have any ideas as to whats going on here. Is it the vitamins?

I know, I saw her in the store. I should be getting some eggs tomorrow, not sure how many she is giving me. I am getting them for almost free between those and some others she is throwing in. I think this lady was glad to find someone to buy her other eggs. I hope these eggs are nice and fertile, and, the P.O. has been nice. I know they are sitting at the Provo office right now. It shows that the eggs were in SLC today..I got my Blue BR eggs, they only took two days to get here! And here I haven't dared to buy from that area! That was fast, VA. was fast in the past..(I'm a poet).. VA. being Bargain.

Anyway Melissa gave me her card, and I told her I will be letting you know on here how the hatch is doing. She was telling me how that rooster acts. I said, like he knows he's all that!
