not a great photo but here they are. your favorite is the small one on the right next to the buff orpington that blends into the pine shavings:

and the new self proclaimed queen of the roost. our Easter Egger:

we are now just trying to decide to add 1 more, which will probably always be the case. i'm thinking an olive egger would be nice but a maran or another sussex would be nice as well.

Wow! There's quite a few of us in utah! I live in the Ogden area! Fairly new to the group (as of last saturday)!

I was hoping there would be a Utah thread. Don't have any chickens or babies yet, but despite the snow (grumble, grumble) we are hoping to bring home our first babies today! I'm SO excited!! Very much looking forward to getting to know others in and around my area.

Good luck with your new chickies.
On another note, I needed some more coop bedding yesterday and thought I would just get some at the local petco rather than drive all the way to the feed store but they were all sold out! so I went the the petsmart by costco and they were sold out too! I figure with all the new chick owners setting up brooders, there must by a run on pine shavings. In all my years of taking care of my kid's pet hamsters and chinchillas, they've always had bedding on the shelves. Oh btw, they had plenty of cedar bedding
