Utah!

Hello fellow Utahns. I'm fairly new to chickens, only had them for about a year now but just barely caught the chicken fever. I have a mutt rooster, 2 mutt hens, 2 white rock hens, 4 EE pullets, 1 Dominique pullet, 2 Barred rock pullets, 1 black sex link pullet, 1 black cockerel (unsure of breed, son's class hatched him) 1 BO cockerel, 1 BO pullet, 2 cuckoo matan pullets AND 3 ducks, one is a pekin but unsure of the others. *Deep breath* I think I have a problem.
it sounds like you have a fun flock! Pretty much everything you mentioned are birds I've been wanting lol. They are so much fun!

Just wanted to see if anyone in here has any orbingtons Jersey giants, speckled or any other pretty pullets around 10 weeks of age they are looking to get rid of. Was supposed to get some australorps but the person changed his mind. Let me know if anyone has or knows anyone that has any pullets they Are wanting to sell. I've got 2 red sex links, 2 EE's around a year old and I also have cochin (bantam mix I think, not sure) and an australorp which are about 10 weeks old. Would like a variety and want a couple more pullets to go with the ones I already have. Thanks everyone.
Sunny Brooke Farms in Sandy always has chicks around that age, usually they are all vaccinated too. The link below has what she has available right now, looks like she has a few different breeds in your age range.

. I love them, the only one I'm wanting to rid myself of is the BO cockerel, he is picking on my ducks. He likes to mount them. Dirty little pervert lol.
he is a dirty boy isn't he lol. I've been thinking about getting a goose because I've got a lot of pesky birds eating all my chicken food and I would like some kind of protection for them when I'm not around. Just don't know if its a good idea or not.

ya I saw the ad in ksl this morning and text her. Just waiting for a reply to set up an appointment to go pick some up.
You need to call her, I got my RIRs and EE's from her in April. I texted her and never heard anything so I just called the next day, and she answered. She is really nice and I learned so much from her. I need to run up there and get another nipple watering bucket from her. LOL I just want to go when she is out of chicks so I don't bring anymore home. LOL

Brian, are you going to make it over today? I have that Australorp out there, and the blue girl.

I put my RIR's out in the nursery today. It's so warm, I thought they would love being out of that brooder. Lots of them. I have someone that wants 10 of them. Any one else need a good laying hen, or a nice cockerel to take care of your girls?

I also have two LF Faverolles..I only need one. Not sure of the sex yet..hoping there is a girl in there. Look up the Roosters in that breed, they are one of the prettiest Roosters out there! With that big black beard, and the colors on the body. Man, wish I could keep one of those!

I will probably have a few Blue Laced Red Wyondotte boys for sell soon. Just watching to make sure I get my girl. These sure are a lot darker than my first girl.

I have been missing for a while. Crazy month of graduations, Eagle courts, mission preparation, senior trip, and on and on........
I got on today hoping maybe someone would know someone who could help me. I would like to adopt a lab puppy for my daughter. We are looking for a yellow lab, preferably male. We have rescued all older labs from the shelters and thought it would be easy to find a litter looking for a home- NOPE- everyone is asking $400-$600
Our oldest Lab is on his last days and my kids have really earned the right to finally raise a puppy.
Does anyone know of someone who isn't a breeder that has labs?
Thanks everybody!!

Oh and my oldest OE, began laying dark russet colored eggs....What????
