Utah!

That is good news!

Good news. Last week i was going to put down one of my Silkies cause she couldn't walk, after reading a couple post on her i decided to give her a chance to recover. Today she has been trying to stand on her bad leg. She has really been able to bend it but today she has been bending it for short periods of time and standing on it.

So, I just picked up some little fuzzy faces from Kyle. They are so cute. I'll be uploading pictures later. They will be for one of my broodies. I'm hoping the others will still hatch. Today is day 20. How long should I wait to see if they'll make it?

Corvidae, it's lovely to see you again! I wish I could buy one of your BLUE blrw. They are so stunning.

Lisa, 21 layers and only 3 eggs a day?! That's CRAZY! I think I'm around 25-28 hens that are at least 6 months old. I'm getting around 8-10 eggs a day. I think only one or two out of six of the goth girls are laying so far.

Madchicken, I'm so glad she's starting to recover. It was nice meeting you today. Good luck with those eggs.

so that rain we had today sure flooded my yard. and a bit of flooding in my home too but the damage was not too bad. i had hail that was 3/4. i am in the sw part of the salt lake valley. my run is very wet. oh and my silver pencil rock is very broody again. i spent over a hour out there trying to break her of it but finally gave up and may just let her sit as long as she is not being too much of a pain for me or the flock. seeing how big some of your flocks have gotten it sure makes me feel in control over my chicken habit. not saying i do not envy some of you :)

Cute little Kylie. :) Which one did she name Bernadeen? Tell her she is very welcome! That's the Serama on her shoulder..wow, she wouldn't do that for me!

GARY, more pictures of the blue splash.

Her coloring is beautiful, reminds me of my blue I had a while back. I'll let her know you want her.

The one on her shoulder is bernadeen and the other pic is of the turkin roo and the white one is a wheaten americana

Ha ha ha!! I win! You got three! Kylie is soooooo cute!

Birdman, sorry about all of the rain damage. How many chickens do you have?

We are on really strict water restrictions now, so my lawn is dying. I'm cheating a little bit to water my pasture this week because it is so dry that the grass is dying, and my cows need it for grazing.

Cynthia, that splash silkie is so beautiful. I love it!
