Utah!

Ace, your newbies are beautiful!

I have not done the B Basket for a while. I had a couple weird ones in a row so then I have not been motivated to do it for a bit. Grapes though, that sounds yummy! Which one do you go to Ace?
My pick-up location is at Intech High School located in North Logan. We usually get one every other Saturday because my wife and I can't make it through one basket every week! (Just too many things!) The summer baskets are much more normal than the winter ones. For example, this week we got grapes, honey dews, cantelopes, onions, lettuce, blueberries, and broccoli. We also ordered a 10 pound box of plums to make jam this week! :)
I love bountiful baskets, I haven't picked one up the last couple of weeks

I'm definitely ordering this time. Mangos and blueberries? Yes please! I may or may not have eaten almost the entire last box we got . . . Maybe I'll get 5 this time? Hmmm.
What beauties, I love the bottom one, forgive me because i still have a lot of learning to do. Is she a blue orp?

I'm loving the blue OE (Olive) I got from Cynthia, she (because she is a she, or at least I think she is) is soo pretty. I need to get some pictures of them up.
Honestly, I have no idea what breed it is. The mom is supposedly a silver laced wyandotte, but I am clueless as to what she was covered by! Any help would be appreciated.
TWow, thanks so much for mentioning that. I keep forgetting the name of those and wanted to start getting them. The neighbors get them and I have started feeling like a fool for how many times I've asked the name of it.

.
Well, if you're gunna get them... the summer time is the best time to do it with all of the tasty fruits! mmmmmm!

Ohhhhhh Geez. Must you torture me so?

Those are adorable. And sooooo bearded....

Desert---your comment about Blu's chicken buyer reminded me of someone we were dealing with last Spring

lol Some people are just not very thoughtful!

We have had more clouds up here in Logan with no rain than I have ever seen. What is up? It just keeps going around us.

I can't believe it..I'm going to order them..they are just too darn cute. I am putting my Favorelle Bantam up for sale. I have a cochin that is close to start laying soon... Anyway, She is the only bantam I've had in there that really wants out. I feel sorry for her. She walks the line like she's been out before, but she hasn't. I tried it one day, but my RIR's are way too bossy for her. She squats even if you talk to her..seriously.

Anyone have a nice sized place for a bantam to free range? She is a love. She lays every day, misses only once or twice maybe, a week! I know she will go broody again, but she sure does lay well inbetween!

Desert, I get my business cards from Vista Print. They are much cheaper than any local store, and I'm impressed with the quality and turn around time. They have templates, but I design my own.

All this talk of bountiful baskets makes me want to get one this weekend.

Wish she were a LF though; I just decided to keep my 2 SQ Fav chicks and yesterday drove an hour to get another one that a person wanted to trade for some kids clothes, which I had in storage. (just what I need, another breed to build more coops and runs for!!!) They sure are cute, but kinda dumb. The one I picked up yesterday, who is 5 months old was totally clueless about coops, roosting and watering founts. The poor thing had been kept UNDER a mobile home and drank from the end of a hose. Hoping she figures it out. Had to do the chicken wrangler thing with her this morning.... 'crazy lady in a robe chasing a chicken with a net' ordeal....(neighbors I'm sure as so used to it, they don't even blink). Last evening she slipped me and it took me two hours to find her (from 8:30 to 10:30 pm). She had decided to sit in a wedge of a tree. I didn't want anything to get her, 'cause nighttime around here is no time for my dearies to be loose and unprotected. I just let her sleep last night since she had chosen a tree that is penned and has a goat in it, but now she's in one of the coops with run, to learn that is HOME.

I got myself some LF Faverolle eggs just because of how she lays! I think your new baby will come around, and not seem so slow, she just needs to get to know your area, and not be afraid. I wonder if the where your new Favorelle was didn't have a roost, didn't have a water bowl..things are different for her, you watch, she'll get smart.

My little gal is. When I start picking grass to throw into her run, she starts really walking along the fence and talking away. Then as I go to open the door, she will often time jump up at the door. She loves her grass!

HELP!! my broody isn't looking good her face is all yellow white, she's hatching the last of her clutch, and i Just don't know what to do for her.

Cynthia that is one gorgeous bird i love her but have too many the feed is getting expensive.
