Utah!

I just got my incubator today! Same one! I'm stuck at the dealership right now (figures it came right before I had to leave, right?) but I'm gonna set it up when I get home to play with it!

Hey guys! I haven't quite been able to catch up yet, but I'm loving all the chick pics! In fact... I just got a Brinsea Mini Advance for my birthday yesterday! I am dying to try it out... but... with the baby coming any day... we can't have any chicks at the moment! :) So... if anyone wnats me to try hatching some eggs for them... I'd be more than happy! It fits 7 eggs. :) PM me if you are interested!

Ace, if you want eggs to play with let me know :)

Haha no eggs from me, right now. Not that I have much to offer, anyway - My girls have gotten super scroogey lately. I know that it's molt season, but come on, girls. There are still plenty of you out there that could be laying and aren't! I got one egg yesterday. Wow. The generosity stuns me

So funny! My 6 months olds laid 12 eggs out of 13 gals yesterday....my 1 yr 6 month olds laid 4 out of 16. Lots molting, the rest who knows. Stinkers. Therefore, there are enough coming up on POL that a few of the older gals are going to move along to make room for the littles. I have a few that have really tapered off the last month or two. If only I was brave enough to process them for eating...I have a few that are getting enormous! I think that might be part of the problem, all the garden produce is making my older gals fat and lazy

Oh! This reminded me - My EE that I got as a baby from Sundance earlier this year squatted for me yesterday! Yippee!! I was so excited when I figured out that she was a girl, and not a boy like I'd first thought, but this just made me giddy all over again

Can't wait to see what color she lays! And, one of my mixes out there that's also a girl should be getting closer. I'm hoping I have at least two new layers in the next month, since I have four pullets out there.

It rained today, so I went out and played in it for a bit. It's been a long time since I've done that, and the fun part is, I actually got my DH out there with me!

This the water coming down, from up the street.

There is goes..down the street.

Gary, have you seen the blues feathering yet?

Not yet. I still cant get a good veiw of them in the little house, as soon as i open a door to look in mama (Momo) is right up in my face puffed up as big as she can get. Tomorrow i am cleaning chicken coops and rabbit pen and will be doing some moving around of the older chicks. I am kicking the older chicks out of the grow out run and moving them to the Silkie run. This will allow Momo to have access to the grow out run with her two RIR chicks and her adopted chicks ( the silkies i picked up from u). I will get a few pictures tomorrow.

Anyone need some fertilizer?
