Utah!

Where are you? I have a few mix eggs each week you could have. My Buckeye room makes nice chicks with a couple of his girls.
Does anyone have any fertile eggs they are letting go or selling for cheap? Its my first time hatching eggs so I dont want to spend a lot on eggs when I don't know what I'm doing. If anyone has fertile eggs for me to try out my hatching skills I would appreciate it. I don't mind if they are barnyard mixes.

My cochin hust laid the biggest egg I have ever seen. This pic I compared to large eggs on the left and a silkie and silkie mix on the right. Double yolker maybe?

I can't even close my egg carton. Her eggs are usually just a little bigger then a silkies egg so this was a surprise. Poor girl lol.

Cynthia, only 1 in the last picture. That's my little RIR bantam rooster. He is molting and his feathers are coming in even darker. The dark ones on either side of him both EE's, not counting the SLW. Brian has 2 of my chicks from him.

Hey Brian, be the way how are those 2 doing?

She threw her big one early! She has just started laying, and I love it when they throw those monster eggs! It's long and narrow. :) That had to be fun to find! :)

Awww! No fair. I have yet to get a double yolker from any of my girls. Come on, girls - two years! Eesh (here I am wishing that on one of my poor girls' bums)

Tellorton, I asked about the feathers because I was going to see if I could take some of them off your hands

I collect feathers, and I can use them for jewelry.

I am thinking on firing up the incubator one last time this year. But I don't want to run it half full and my record on shipped eggs lately has been quite dismal. Anyone close-ish to SLC area (I am in Riverton) have large fowl heritage breeds still laying fertile eggs? I prefer dual purpose heritage breeds but I could be easily convinced that I might need something else. LOL

All I have right now are barnyard mixes. Sorry! Otherwise, I would give you some eggs.
