Utah!

I started my Christmas egg giving today. I give a dozen eggs to my neighbors and put a cute little note on top that says Merry Christmas from the scotts. Everyone loves it. I try to make sure everyone has a variety of colors. Blue tan white and dark brown. Its a fun way to recognize our neighbors and tell them how much we appreciate them.

Those cows look very big, Tellorton. Were they mama fed?

Sundance, I bet your neighbors LOVE that! That's a fun idea for a neighbor gift.

Sorry to hear about those who have lost chickens during this cold spell. We got to -17F up here but no fatalities. I've got a pretty small coop so with 9 chickens and a duck in there it stays pretty warm at night. Warm enough for my 12 week old pullet to be doing just fine living outside. I've wanted a bigger coop (walk-in type) but hubby pointed out that the small "chicken house" we built will keep them warmer in the winter. They have a huge run so I guess I'm good for now. Except for covering it... I hate shoveling the snow out of it all winter.

@themadchicken Congrats on the new "Roo"! Christmas was early for your family :)

Welcome to the chatter, Skunknchatter. You've been here long enough that I'm sure you've been around, I just haven't "met" you yet.

I have three pips in my eggs. The fourth egg was set about 14 hours after the rest, so I'm not surprised she's behind.

Hatch Cam is live. You didn't have anything going on the next couple days, right Lisa?
