That's what they said on the Gender posts too...so, guess I will have to place him..can't have a roo. He is sooo sweet. He comes up to on his roost to get face to face to me, then we just sit there together and talk to each other. They have to be one of the sweetest bantam breeds I've come to know. Even sweeter than my cochin!

you could wait and see if he crows to be sure he is a he. i read up on them a little and i did not know that they are very rare but i guess that makes sense because i had never heard of them before. i wish i could have a roo

Just wanted to say thanks to all who helped after we lost our birds. We found an adult to keep our lone survivor company as well as a handful of chicks to start over with.
All is well at our house again.

Alan.

Don't know if you're at you max quota, but I'd be happy to give you a couple that have either started laying or will be within a couple weeks. You won't hv to wait quite so long for more eggs.

julie

p.s. Healthy birds, am not selling, just willing to help ya out!

Hi- My husband just finished building our coop so I don't need this, but I just saw an ad on KSL for a kiosk/booth (8'hx6'wx4'd) that looks like it would make a good small coop with very few alterations. The guy is asking $125 or trade. I don't know the guy (I promise I'm not trying to make money on here) I just was cruising through the adds and thought it looked like a good coop solution. It is ad#16720869 and it was just posted this morning.

It's me again, I had thought I had some for you, then it didn't work out. Are you up for one more great laying hen? I have her on ksl right now, a RIR. I have the ad saying she is on her 8th day in a row laying..well, it's up to 9 now! My pullets are starting to lay!! They are ones that I hatched out in the spring. I haven't had this girl long, just wanted an egg layer while I waited for my girls to start. Boy, does she lay. She is in her prime. Getting close to 18 months. On ksl I'm asking for 15, but will let her go for 5, she's earned her way with her eggs. I can show you a couple of them if you decide to come. Shoot me a p.m. if you can handle one more.

I'm the one in Spanish Fork. She's a beautiful mahogany color, and a real sweet girl. She squats if you come around.

Well my hopes of giving our very broody hen babies didn't work out.

So I have four almost 4 wks old chicks for sale. SOLD

I also took a good look at my coop and my new layers will be overcrowded come winter so I'll be putting an ad on KSL for them. Darn chicken math.

I have some Golden Laced, Black Austs, 1 black Andulsian, Buff Orps, RIR, and Barrdies. They are late Feb chicks so they are now starting to lay. Fed natural feed, veggies and free ranged when possible. $10/ea except 3 Golden Laced have tail feathers plucked (lowest on pecking order) so they will be $7. 17 total I need to downsize so if someone wants all of them I'll let them go for $140. These could also be picked up in SL but you would need to pick them up early (like 8am) so they aren't in the heat all day.

Edited to add chickies sold but I'll go $8/hen or $100 for all 17. I want to put down sand and it'll be easier with them gone. Any takers?

Send me an email or pm if interested.

Thanks and stay cool!
