Utah!

Sundance!!!!! I'm so glad you're back, but sad you have to be on oxygen.

Cynthia, wow, I'm surprised you bought two. I thought for sure it would be a no. I can't believe they had bantam NN at Cal Ranch. I haven't been to a feed store that carried chicks in a long time. It'd be fun to go see the fluffy butts. I can't actually get any- I need to be thinning things down in preparation for my move.

Pancake, all of those diseases can and do happen. Most people I know who move out of state choose to start their flocks over again from scratch unless they have a fairly large and well known show quality flock. As much as I love my chickens, if I were to choose between starting over and going through the risk/hassle of vaccinating my adult birds, I'd probably start over. And my OE and FBCM are actually in pretty good demand.

My daughter's teacher hatches chicks every year (phew, one less class to try to hatch for). She's looking for duck eggs. Anyone here have any? Or anyone have anything unique (not chicken) that would be fun for third graders?

Please do! Then call me! ya ya ya!

I put einstein the polish with him. I'll catch her tomorrow and put her in the breeding pen

Any FBCM eggs available?

Sad news this morning. My Exchequer Leghorn, Chelsea, seems to have disappeared :( I hope she is okay. My little vagabond.

Ace, loved your OT chicken story and your pics. Did you crochet those hats? I still need to send these feed bags to you.

Thanks! Haha. Just send them when you have a minute.

Woohoo~! 4 girls to one boy.....you get good statistics on hens. I still cannot believe those chicks I got from you, from Wendy's eggs. They are almost all girls! Crazy this hatch is going so well with the females too, that is awesome!

Ace, I forgot to mention, those hats are stinking adorable. You have a supercute family.

I sent Christie the link to our thread. Would be fun to see her pop in!

Thanks!

Wow! It's been busy here! Must be hatching season! I love how everyone is frantically trying to choose eggs/chicks to add to the flock. Haha.

Chelsea came back! <3 I moved most of my Icelandics out here last night. Need to seal up their run. Welcome back Sundance, Cynthia cute chicks, you guys are making me want ducks again. For the record, I hate this phone.
