Utah!

Yes, don't worry about the yellow. Remember all my Silkie Chicks, we thought I had 3 Light Buffs, because they were all yellow. Well they all feathered out White.

Here they are when they were a few days old, just creamy

And today.

CYnthia--Are they all bearded, could not tell for sure? I will buy all the blues that are bearded, from this hatch and the next hatch....that you want to sell big_smile.png

(up to 6 or so) I want another pullet or two to replace the one that my dog got. I think I will try to get one blue and one splash so that the blue rooster could make all three colored babies. So if you have an extra splash too I would be interested.
(Sorry for all the edits)

I am seriously almost in tears. Holding them back. I can't believe I was this stupid! I know not to leave the waterer near the babies especially without rock in it..yes, I just lost my white to drowning.

I'm so very sorry, that has to be so hard. I never thought about that with my babies, but I have the water fountain things from the feed store. I will have to remember to put rocks in there with new chicks. Hugs

Ahh shucks, my white isn't all white, it has a dusting of brown around the head and neck. Keeping it anyway..it's already amazing looking.

Lisa, here are pictures of a couple of dark blues. The first one has white on it's neck,
but I do believe that it goes away like aussies right? The first three photos is of one chick.
the last one is a different one. Oh, the second one also has white on the neck. But
I'm not thinking splash. I've seen a lot of splash, no yellowish coloring on them.

The leg and feet feathering is great on most of these chicks.

If you want to wait and see what the others hatch out, if they hatch out, then we could
do that too. A lot of BBS in there..and the one black that is Iluv's if it hatches. :)

Anyway, your dog is not crazy. It is smart. It's knows that mama will not hurt it with the big loud thing. :) Pretty cute little stink. :)

congrats very nice and good feet

cyn I am so sorry. I hate it when I make mistakes like that. on a happy note I am going to chicken stock. Not taking my chicks as I couldn't figure out how to keep them warm on the long drive. I am taking fertile eggs to sell
