I have a little NN out in my grow out pen..turns out to be a boy..pretty sure. It is a light barred color..nice bow tie. Anyone?

I sure hope it changes its mind.  I will cry if its a Roo, I was so excited to have my first Cochin. 

I may have an extra partridge Cochin for you if yours turns out to be a rooster! I think I may have overloaded my coop.

I incubate at mid 30's, lock down from 55% to 62%.  Works great, unless you are doing water fowl.    80% at lock down is probably why you didn't hatch  many.  Too high for chicks. 

Thanks for the help. I'm putting a dozen in today. Hopefully this hatch is a little better. And with more hens. Out of the 4 I hatched and 1 my broody hen hatched, 4 have been roosters! I kept one so maybe he'll produce a few more hen chicks...

I want some NN eggs from sundance!   lol....   when?   ey?   lots of NN eggs.   I have some in the bator, but, had to toss quite a few, the air sacs were bad/big..a lot started..but candled last night, a lot quit, had blood rings.  In with some beautiful blue eggs, just a day behind the blue eggs, but they are doing great.  Knock on wood.

Cynthia, no! Don't tell me that! Were they the ones from the ebay seller? I hope we get a good hatch, I'll be sad for hubby (and my wallet) if we don't.
