In the Brooder
I'm in Springville. Just got 6 Rhode Island Red chicks! It's already fun just to watch them. They have done well yesterday and today. Runnin around actin like chicks.

Wow I can't believe I nailed the total number set.
On the other hand I think their was an error on the best hatch rate, because unless I calculated my numbers wrong, I only had an 83% hatch rate. Guess I better pm Misfitmorgan.
Welcome, cfak! I wouldn't worry yourself to death over the brooder temps. So long as the chickies have a spot to go in that feels toasty to your hand, and a cooler spot to get away from, just make sure the brooder is insulated/protected from the elements, and they should be fine
