Good morning! I hope everyone is staying warm, especially all the little chickies.

Well, Spring is definitely in the air, because the hormones are flaring. I think I may have to take a leaf out of RJ's book and construct a couple of jail cells out back. I've never seen my roosters' combs so beat up, ugh. Some neighbor is going to think I'm running a fighting ring or some garbage. I try to keep them separated, but they insist on fighting through the fences or flying over to visit with each other. And, one of my turkey hens bit me this morning. I tell you, they've gone crazy!

I was just looking through some pictures from last September and came across this little heart warmer. I love my furry, feathery little critters! I had almost forgotten how little my big shaggy puppy used to be!

***Pic heavy!! Ok we have fluffies now. Yes Ace it looks just like a bat, lol that's what I call the black babies when they are wet like that! Skin is black as night. Cynthia, I ended up with zero white, crazy considering over half the moms are white lol!

Love your chickens, but also loving the pup..is that a goldendoodle by chance..or labradoodle? Cute what ever it is. I've had two litters of Goldendoodles born here. They are adorable.

DH comes up to me this morning and asks..Did you hear that this morning? I say..hear what? And he goes into this little ~ cockadoodle dooooo mimic of what he hears. What? I was chuckling away. I didn't hear it, but he swears there is a little cockeral out there. If so, I'm guessing either my black Herculese daddy frizzle..but it's been looking like a girl..?? Or, it's the partridge silkie. :/ The one with all of the fluff and couldn't see. That bird is fluffy beyond fluffy!

Have to love those mystery cockerels. Ha ha ha We still haven't heard ours crow. I'm just waiting for it. It was a fum mystery whole it lasted.

Thanks Cynthia! She's a labradoodle. I remember your puppies from last year! In fact...I should thank you for helping us decide to get her . When I showed my hubby your puppies it planted a little doodle seed in his head. When we unexpectedly lost our little schnoodle we knew exactly what we wanted. She has been the best, sweetest, smartest, most perfect dog ever! Great family dog!!!
