Hey, if you go, can I get the incubator from you then? We were down at Lagoon this weekend but I couldn't figure out a way to hide it from my daughter. She will be distracted at Chickenstock, I'm sure.

That's a great idea! I'll be sure to bring it!
Super Lucky! I have not had the good fortune to come across any in the stores for sure, pretty scarce around these parts. Very cute.

Abko I hope you can work it out to go! If you do I can give you the eggs also if you still want them.
I still want eggs for sure!!!

If for some reason I'm not able to make it, I will make a Logan trip and I can bring the bator and pick up eggs. :)

Ok so we have to find each other and say hi. I will have a brooder set up by the free chicks he is giving to the 4h kids. I bought some BYC badges for us to wear but they have not arrived yet, hope they get here in time! I will only be there til 12:30 or so, I have to get back.
(If you want to buy chicks get there early/when they open they go fast!)
Ok sounds great! I can't wait to meet you:)

IPick, I would suggest coming to Chickenstock armed with a box or two with wood shavings/paper towels lining the bottom. The boxes should be able to close somehow to prevent little jumpies from getting out :)

Cynthia, I love your partridge! The black SG is cute, too. Love the foofy bum pictures.

I got to meet poorpitifulpear today. She took home four of my babies, but not before one of them saw fit to drop a big old blob of cecal poo on my work skirt. Boy I cleaned that off fast, lol! Hope the babies and eggs do well for you, poorpitifulpear! It was good meeting you.

salt lake ifa has tons of chicks, some rare ones too. such as buckeyes, dominiques, other large fowl, bantams, game breeds, geese, about 5 different breeds of turkeys, bobwhite quail. lots of fun stuff. they even had what was labeled barred leghorns. no i did not get any chicks as hard as it was. was tempted to get some for my broody.

Cynthia, two of my three marans have huge combs for their age. Pretty certain they are cockerels... That cochin is gorgeous. Reminds me of a party dress you'd almost never wear because you're afraid of getting it dirty. Ha ha

Agh don't tell me that! Now I can't go in there. Although I would like to throw in a word of caution - Sometimes they mislabel their breeds. I got my RIR hen because she was labeled as a Welsummer there. They don't always know what breeds they have :/
