Utah!

Lisa- that girl is gorgeous! I have an empty bator just sitting here looking lonely... Is there a time next week that I can come get some eggs?

I'm not able to go to chickenstock, darn it! But I'm happy to add a car to the train if anyone needs it

Lisa, your silkie is very pretty. What color would you call that? Did you say it was a chipmunk when hatched? That is interesting. Looks like a birchen in the smooth feathered types with that silver on the neck and chest.

And Lisa! I wasn't worried about my EE being a boy. Now I will have to go look at .. it, again.

I was loving the brown/black partridge coming out in it.
I am pretty sure my two Marans are boys now. Those wattles are showing up pretty good. If I were to go by feathering on these two blues, those wing tips are pretty long, not short and tight. So, crossing my fingers. A splash roo with a blue. Ooooh....

Sold my Black Girl. She is also still getting pin feathers in the head area and the bow tie area. Man, they look bigger than they feel when you pick them up. Such dainty birds.

Anyone with mice problems....this just might be the ticket. Easy to replicate.....humane....and can be in the coop.

My uncle had RIRs and Leghorns at separate times and they always ate mice. We saw them catch them from time to time and they were a real treat to the chickens. This is a cool idea though.

I think I am going to disappear for a while. Thanks to everyone who's been kind to me here and have taught me so much over the last year. I am going to focus my heart into this paint breeding business to make the prettiest high quality paint silkies I can. If anyone decides to part with nice quality black silkie pullets that are under a year old please let me know. They would help me to achieve my goal. And if anyone wants or needs to get in touch with me you probably already know how to. Good bye

The interview went really well! They scheduled me for another interview on Monday. This should be the last one before they decide who they want. They are moving quickly for this company. Its usually a week or more between interviews.
