Here is the final group. A couple ones from last week, plus this week's hatch, minus 12 olive eggers that sold last night.

Oh man! Just darling Lisa. Remember I was thinking on getting some eggs. Well, best pass. I am having a good hatch rate here with these mixes, plus I do have some silkie eggs that go into lock down on Tues. Crossing fingers that they do well, if so, I will have a lot..not as many as you have here, but I will be thinking, now, where do I put these. ~ You know how this goes! Because, I like to wait to see how the silkies turn out before I sell them. Unless it's a color I don't want. Anyway, maybe later when I get all of this decided I will want some eggs.

That is a SG -round headed in the middle/right...most of these are OE, Marans, just a couple silkies/SG in there. On the far right there is a black SG... and a little partridge silkie that did not get the really round head. Super cute speckles though.

Well, i had roughly 50% hatch rate on my first hatch... looks like the 7 that didn't hatch, made it to lockdown...but not to hatch. I had two pip and drown, the rest just didn't even try, or didn't get to the point where they could. You hatch some you lose some I guess... unless you happen to be my son's kindergarten teacher who had 100% hatch on a dz split between two incubators... that is even with her taking the lid off the incubator to let the kids watch a couple of them hatch!

Cynthia I'm glad you're having such goodluck! And I love those fluffy fluffy cheeks!

Love the muffs on these babies. This one has the 5 toes, not fused. Just a cute little thing. Better be a girl, I've already had that talk with it. This one came from a blue/green egg. Wondering if it's a girl, what color the egg will be.

6 babies. Cute little stinks. I think I got a lot of boys. Will have to wait and see tomorrow how those wing tips look. Works pretty good most of the time. But, not always!

Dang it. Left to go to my doc appointment, and left my son and DH home, sure enough the dog got out back and ate/killed/murdered in cold blood one of my chickens, one of my best black marans hens. I would put a naughty word here for what I have been calling him but I'll refrain. Grrrrr. He will be sitting in the bathroom a good long while!
