Utah!

I've been wondering what color he'd be called. Though he's only about 5 months, he is a busy, busy but sweet boy. I only have 1 hen (my buff orp) laying and she just started this week (4 eggs straight) but I'm hoping to get some cute chicks from him.

Reese's Pieces is his name. Hoping he'll be a daddy before neighbors get too annoyed with him.

Yay for 4 days in a row! We ate the first one. Hoping some of my other gals will follow her lead soon!
This is the guy that I said looked like my Buddy I kept for a while. The collar didn't work well on him either. I got some eggs from him though. I have two that have green legs..so hoping for a nice pretty egg from those girls in the future. All of the chicks that hatched were chipmunk chicks..either the yellow with the black/brown stripes, or the dark brown chick .. chickmunk look.

SideWing, I have a little 2 mo cockerel that is getting a bit of coloring like that.... if you wanted him, I need to find him a home... his name is Rocky (Rocky Road). I don't know if he's an EE mix or not though... His daddy was a salmon faverolle, not sure about the mommy... good chance he is though... He has beautifully feathered feet, and he should have fluffy cheeks too...

Oh wow..is that the one you got from me? He is pretty! Going to be handsome. The dad was a Salmon Faverolle..for sure. Only rooster out there at the time.

I'm working on a Lavender Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Marans projects right now. Are there any SQ or Foley line SLW in Utah?
Marans? I have a beauty of a Blue C. Marans boy out there! Going to be gorgeous. You need him!

Oh awesome! How old was he when he started fathering babies? I can't wait! :D

Does anyone have a spare Marans pullet that are thinking of getting rid of or some hatching eggs? I want a dark layer so bad! I'm so tired of boys but hatching is just too much fun.

nah, these are the ones I hatched from Brian's eggs. He is my favorite roo, and absolute sweetie. I hate to have to eventually get rid of him... but since I'm unable to have a roo.... *sigh* just sucks :p

IPick, your sulking rooster picture made me laugh :) A picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Bitsy, I love how that little light one is smiling for the camera! <3

Me too! She looks so happy to have "her" picture taken, lol!

Don't know on the lines, just wanted to say that I love Wyandottes. I want another GLW. I love that monarch color. I'll keep my ears open for any breeders.

Been camping, just got internet again and saw this, if you can wait a few days I could save a couple for you.

That'd be awesome! Thanks, Lisa! :) Still waiting on these little ones to arrive. Any time now!

Looks like this will be my 2nd layer! She's been in the nesting box all morning. I'm really surprised. She's younger and I thought for sure our BR would be next. She's a CAL Ranch EE and our older EE from IFA's hips still feel a ways from laying.
