Utah!

@Cynthia12 it was Papa's Poultry . So far my experience has been good, he was willing to ship out the eggs the same day I placed my order and I got 15 well wrapped eggs instead of 8. Now if my cochin manages to hatch a few, I'll be happy.

@La Casa de Pollo that smooth pullet is adorable.

Since we're all chicken people here... I bought eggs because I thought both my bantams were going broody. My silkie, who is a flake, but a good mom and my cochin who I've never used as a broody before. I thought, "I'll get eggs and if the cochin breaks, I'll just stick them under the silkie." However, as soon as I moved the cochin out of the coop, the silkie decided that she wasn't really broody and started laying again. Seriously, I swear the silkie has spent every other month trying to go broody and the one time... So now I'm hoping my cochin is a good mom.

No bator? Just in case?

Thanks :) I think my husband, me, and the dr have come to the agreement that Friday will be when we get induced... and we may just try breaking water, or just a small dose of pitocin to get us started... I feel like we are ready anytime... just needs a bit more oomph to get it going ;) which time will tell! :D we will be 2 weeks over tomorrow.

And??? How are you ???
Sorry I wasn't around to take your duckies, I would have been happy to. Im trying to spend less time on the computer.
Do we have baby yet?

sorry! I've been a bit preoccupied with this bunch of adorable-ness!
Alyssa Jayne was born Thursday morning, on her own time! She is such a beautiful little thing with such an amazing amount of hair! (first for any of my kids!)
She was born at 11:34 am on 8/6/15, 19 inches, and 7 lbs 6 oz (wow, for 2 weeks exactly overdue! it even shocked the dr).

As for the ducks @LadyIsadora , I think Brian (the other guy who took the majority of the ducks, but kept only 3) may be looking to get rid of his trio as well, he's trying to cut back on a lot of things, because of a new job. If you're interested, I can let him know!

Congratulations! She is so cute!

Adorable. So worth the wait.

No bator?   Just in case?

I'm trying to talk my husband into one, but I just got the new coop. We'll see how it goes.

Do you think one of those $50 styrofoam ones from IFA would be good enough? I could put the 6 left over eggs in it.

But at least I know when my silkie will go broody, probably 23 days from now :)

Yep...Malad Idaho is about 15 or 20 miles North of us. I have 8 hens...2 Black Australorp, 2 Rhode Island Reds 3 Easter Eggers (one of which is "special") and an unidentified white and black bantam. Also have a cute little birchen cochin bantam roo.

Plymouth is pretty :) I used to drive through/by there to see my friend in Idaho.

It is pretty. I've always loved it. Our intention was to move South (Yuma AZ) ended up here instead. I have a gorgeous view 360 degrees. Nice and quiet. No planes, trains,or other traffic!
