Ok then I want an opinion here, is this one too blonde? I really like her type and she lays the best egg but she is pretty light.

Oh man.... I had a blast hanging out with RJ, Karol and Diane at the chicken show but I'm going home with way too many birds! Lol. My first auction and I went a little crazy! Brown red modern game trio, birches modern game trio and a pair of Diane's seramas all from the auction.

Has anyone ever fermented chicken feed . If so how did it go ? Can you use tap water?

I do fermented feed. I use tap water. I've done it for a little over a year. I feed fermented twice a day and free feed dry food.

I just ferment in an old ice cream bucket. When I add more feed and water to it, I add more apple cider vinegar too (like a small glug). I find if I don't add more vinegar, I really don't like the way it smells. In the winter I had to move it in the garage or it freezes solid.
