Utah!

I am just North of Logan in Richmond. Only have a few laying hens (buff orpingtons and araucana's) in a chicken tractor. Fairly new to chickens.

I'm just a few minutes from downtown Salt Lake in "snooty" Harvard-Yale. I'm technically not legal with my two pullets since our movable coop/tractor isn't 50 feet from our house and I am NOT going to license my chickens and open myself up to inspections by the powers that be. I figure if I'm not cooking meth in the garage or running an escort service out of my basement I'm not such a bad person by having illegal chickens. And I certainly know I'm not the only one around here. Our numbers are growing every day, bwa-ha-ha!!!

We had a guy come to our house to process our birds. When my hubby gets home tonight, I will get his name and number and post it here for you.

We live in Erda (by Tooele).

Just signed up myself - got off to a pretty good start on my webpage too, so please check it out and let me know what you all think of it.
I live in the Layton area.

Hmm well guess I should add my name here, I live in Sandy, not too sure about permits for my chickens, never needed them before when we had over 150 of them, but that was years ago and on a much larger yard. Rite now I just have 10 little bantams, looking like some golden seabrights and not too sure on the others yet. But hey they sure are intersted in playing with my dogs.

Also im planning on getting some peafowl (yeah the neighbors know) and some pheasents in the future, just need to build the coops and runs before I get them, even though I will have some peafowl eggs in the incubator tomarrow.

Any chance there will be a chickenstock in utah around 7/9 - 7/14? I'm going to be out there for a family reunion. I was surprised there wasn't a single discussion in the chickenstock section of the forum regarding utah!
