I'm in the same boat as Donna. My broody girl is sitting on several eggs that are due to hatch on Monday. Not sure who's more excited, me or the kids.

Yes, let us know! It is so much fun to watch the mom and her babies.

Here's mine after the extention put on the end. Where's the chickens? Must be taking a dust bath under the Apple trees. :)

Ha, I just took the kids to Cal Ranch to look at chics because they couldn't stand the wait.

I go and look at the chicks too when I go in to get something. I had to get more shavings..and I had to go see the babies. Even though I have some here. :))

Hi, all! I have a beautiful Sebastopol goose I need to sell. She's show quality, solid grey, with perfect round head and stovepipe neck. Beautiful feathering. I have her listed on ksl for $250 (from Holderread's would be about $400) but will go much lower for someone local with goose experience. Please text me for more info. 801-644-6165.

i did not realize you all have smaller coops. i dont know why but i thought they would be bigger

I have three. Sort of. :) See that little Hutch behind the coop. I call that my nursery hutch. That is the coop they go out in first. Then, I have a middle size coop and run, just off to the left side of the coop you see there..I put the larger babies in there, so they can run out in the coop when they want, when there is no snow! Your pencil is out in the middle coop. Boy those birds are getting more and more pretty. I should get more pictures up for you.

Hey! I didn't tell you guys! My Barred Rock finally laid her egg!

It was a cute little pullet egg for sure. Pretty color though. And, she laid it in a nest box!
