Utah!

La Casa de Pollo - Thank you so much for telling me that. I really didn't know what to expect with her going broody. It is helpful to know what your experience has been.Thank you.

briarson84 - We are pretty attached to our chickens. We have 4 Silkies, one bantam WCB Polish, one white Ameraucana. I will keep you in mind if this gets to be to much for me to handle. I have
kids who live in northern Utah and I go there a lot. Thanks for your offer and help.

What a great weekend of weather we have coming! Yay! It finally is starting to feel like Spring will arrive. Good day tomorrow to make that coop and run bigger. We just picked up all the lumber, hardware and paint....hope I am not forgetting anything, don't you hate millions of trips back and forth when you are trying to get a project done?!

Have a great weekend everybody! ;)

Be sure to take pictures, Lisa!

I'm hoping to get some work done around here tomorrow, too. I'm amassing scrap supplies to build a small coop and run at home for my mom (I'm going to surprise her with chickens) I "drafted" (ha ha) some plans for it today, so we'll see how it rolls.

We got our new coop today off of KSL so now I need to paint it and take the old one out and put the new one in the run. It's double the size of the old one so this means CHICKS SOON!

jwoo..and that means a lot of fun coming your way!

My Dear Husband and I have been married for 20 years today! What a great man, can't be grateful enough for him!!

Heloo Peoples :)

Anybody want to buy a pregnant meat rabbit? $12. She's really a sweet doe and should kindle in a few weeks. I'm sure she's pregnant since she's mated multiple times with all 3 of my bucks. I also have a small black buck who is so adorable and tiny. He's $10.

I still have tons of baby chicks! Lots of teenage chickens and some EE's from Meyer Hatchery. PM me and we can talk LOL

Cynthia-You make me seem like the perfect kid lol, and Congrats on your anniversary!

jwoo, that's awesome! Have you guys thought about what kinds of chicks you want to get, or are you planning on just having a heyday?

Cynthia, congratulations! Go have fun today.

I need to start working on the new coop and run. I've been waiting all morning to be able to go get some of my supplies, and I've got ants in my pants. I'm itching to get to work on that baby!

First of all Congrats Cynthia!! I hope that your next 20 are even better than the last!

- I just got a broody hen from a friend and now im looking for some fertile eggs! I would like to find some here locally along the Wasatch front. I would also like them to be pure breed but they don't have to be any special breed. Im keeping an eye on Ksl but does anyone know of another place to find some?
