Well, I'm man enough to admit that we have too many chickens. It's a sad day indeed.
I think the problem started when we got a broody hen and thought it would be cool to hatch a few eggs under her. We now have 3 pullets and 1 cockerel that need to go. They are crossed with a French Copper Black Marans rooster and a Rhodes Island White hen. The girls have spots and since I've never seen a spotted chicken they must be really rare!
Should probably let our two youngest Wyandottes go as well since we're over the limit. When we got chicks I assumed one or two wouldn't make it but I'll be danged if they all lived.
I posted them on KSL but will give a $2 discount to BYC members. Here they are:
$7 for the Wyandottes (started laying March of this year)


$3 for the (rare spotted) pullets. Cockerel FREE with Pullet purchase.
