Utah!

Well look at that the thread has hit page 700. And yes Hector we had hail earlier. Right Now it is 47 degrees out rainy and cloudy. What a way to ruin a good 3 day weekend

Ok Lisa, you did good. And, I did good, and, Shinx did good. She decided to take her. She now has a laying hen. :)

pheonix, I have to wonder about all of those folks that went on camping trips. I can clearly see it's worse up in those mountains, in fact I can see the new snow level,, it isn't far down, but still, wet and cold I'm sure up in the camping areas....that's too bad..this is a big weekend for a lot of families.

too cute, I just put my sizzle eggs in my incubator today. This is my first hatching attempt so hopefully I don't mess up too bad. Temp is 99.5 steady. I am going to sell a Barnvelder Pullett hatch 2/13/12 very pretty bird $20.00 I also am going to see an EE hatch date 01/17/12 not laying yet but I think soon $15.00. I also have a black beardless muffless pullett hatch 02/17/12 $20.00 and a Jersey giant hatch date 03/19/12 $15.00 I'll take some pics and post later, I have a pretty lavender Americana I want to show at the fairs and a pretty turkin pullet I may show.
Are you planning on keeping all of your sizzles? I have been looking for a frizzle but after your post I looked at some pictures of sizzles and they are pretty darn cute.

Would you please let me know if you decide to sell

Lisa the story you told about Violet made me smile. I want her. See that's just the kind of thing non chicken people don't get. They would only think about the obnoxious noise but not any of us right?! We just see the eggs :D and cuteness of it. Fun story.

Happy2bhere- in about 3 weeks I should have some frizzle Polish.:) I'd be happy to share.

Cynthia your little Silkie is getting so big. I love the splash. I thought I got one in my last hatch but turns out it was a white one. So I have 4 white Silkie chicks :( would have like to have got some of each. Another time maybe.

Cynthia----so Sphinx is keeping the partridge? Awesome. Saved me. I took my daughter to the store, thought I better get off this thread for a little bit lol I was really going to cave in, it was funny :) Glad Sphinx wanted her! That does work out good for everybody. Hope your lavender behaves herself too.

Hattie, I am sure you can find someone one here to love a few of your white silkies if you want to try for new colors! And Frizzle Polish? Those will be fun. Do not forget to give us some pics of those, hope you have a great hatch.

This rain is depressing. We were going to go over to Crystal Springs and camp tonight then swim tomorrow but it is just too dang cold. Wish there would be a little more sunshine!

Welcome DaveyDuck! I love runner ducks. They remind me of a little professor and look like they should be wearing a bow-tie.

Casa de Pollo - That was such a great story about Violet. Talk about your chicken comedy! It made me laugh out loud.

I hope you do get to keep her forever but if you ever decide you need a home for her I'm sure that there are more than a few of us that would like to adopt her. Just make sure you send her with her fake egg.

Auntie Hattie - Frizzled Polish? I'll bet they are way cute and have personality plus. Are they bantams and do you think they will get along with my silkies?

Lisa the Silkies are for my sister. You can bet I will be hatching more sometime though. :D

Happy2bhere yes they will be bantam. My Polish is a bantam and gets along great with my silkies.

Aunti, I have a lot of silkies in right now..and I lucked out and got some from catdance..that sells on here. I also have more in from the breeder that the splash in the picture is from. I also have some showgirls in, because the baby that I have is just too darn cute. Never thought I would say that about any kind of naked neck chicken, but these have the muff and bowties. Pretty cute.
You should let me know if you want any Silkies. I have blues, splash, blacks, and partridge in there, which is what I am crossing my fingers for. I have a little Partridge, just watching it for now. Not sure I will keep that one. It didn't have the vaulted head, but is still pretty fluffy and cute..I will keep one with the vaulted ones if I get one to hatch!
