The gal says next week, but.....................................................................I got some more showgirl eggs today. All partridge! They will be either showgirl, or silkies...that's how it usually works, unless they have showgirl to showgirl breeding. Most do the silkies to showgirls. I want a partridge showgirl, and a partridge silkie! It better happen, plus I have more showgirl eggs coming from Cj..look up his site...beautiful! When I get the ones I want, others will have a chance to get some, I hope. Wendy, not sure what color of a Silkie you want, but hoping that Cj sends a variety. He has some beauties.
The showgirls are so hard to hatch. Anyway, I should get something out of these two batches..plus, crossing my fingers on the ones to come this next week, they are all white. With muffs, and bowties.
My new bator is getting tested for sure. I know I can have both in there. When I did my first hatch, it was so nice to be able to open the bator and not worry about shrink wrapping the others. Even if they were pipped. I just opened the bator once one had hatched, and put it in a nice warm brooder. Those were the EE mixes and so called Olive Eggers..the eggs weren't as green as what I am getting for winning the contest.

The heat is really affecting my sexlink. Never thought it would happen. She didn't lay for two days, but oh boy, did she make noise when she finally laid today..the egg was huge! Bless her heart.
