lol...thanks sundance..I think I lost my other kind of marbles a long time ago. Still wondering, where did they go, along with all the time that has passed.

May as well report, that the broody part at the end of the coop got done today. In the sun, my wonderful husband put up some fencing, and even a door for me. Nothing fancy, but it will work great for the mama cochin I am getting from Hector on Mon. And, it should work just fine for future broody hens.
It was so hot out there today, bless his heart, he knew I wanted it done for Mon. and he made it in time. Will have to get pictures of her in there with her baby.

Lisa, loved the concert pictures. Thanks for sharing. Was their lead singer a young asian kid? If so, we saw a concert on tv with journey and him as the lead singer,and he was amazing.

Cynthia, those babies are cute! They sure look like FBCM. That was so sweet of your dh to work so hard in the hot sun.

Sundance, congrats on finding new homes for those mille fleurs. I'm glad they went fast so I didn't buy them.

Now that is an interesting looking chicken. She looks like she was rode hard and put up wet as the cowboys use to say

Another interesting way to sex chicks. Take them by the scruff of neck. hang them so their feet are dangling. if they relax a d don't fight they are females. If they fight and wiggle they are male. This was the method of some of the chick purchasers that came yesterday. Was an interesting theory, not sure if its true.

Crazy Egg Sasha, I still cannot believe that. It reminds me of sausage links lol. You should save that pic for a contest, there has GOT to be a weirdest looking egg contest on here somewhere, sometime.....

Hey neighbors, I wanted to share the news that Fox 13 spent the day here putting together a story about the great goose rescue. In case anyone is interested in watching it, they said it was going to air tonight at 5pm & 9pm.

it will bring in donations for much needed vet care or placements for our extra grey dewlap ganders!

I'm so sorry they didn't make it on. I recorded all broadcasts. The fire seemed to have bumped everything. It wasn't on this morning but I hope maybe tonight, The publicity would be invaluable
