I went to the gym, roads aren't bad up here. If you want, I can meet you part way and take the owl the rest of the way. My dd's favorite animal is an owl and she is DYING to see her.

I'm just sick about my eggs! All 16 were alive before lockdown and there is not on pip! Today is day 21. They are all dead I know it. Why is this happening?

Hattie, don't fret yet. If you're dying, you could grab one and candle and see if you hear chirping.

Sphinx I always need to incubate which you. You have talked me through a few of my hatches way from the beginning.

I have one good pip and one starting. I'm shocked it happened. I have heard no chirping or movement that I can see. I'm just going to sit on my hands and pray.

I still have that lavender Orpington..she is now almost 10 weeks old. Very pretty. Outside where she can go in our out of a heat lamp area. Nor doors, just wood to hide behind when the wind kicks up. She's doing well out there. So, if there is a train going..let me know if anyone wants a lavender girl.

If no one else wants that poor lavendar orp and the train makes it to Idaho Falls, I would be happy to take her off your hands... I don't have any lavendars right now so that would be a cool addition to the layer pen!! let me know..

Yay!! I'm glad they're finally coming! Mine always come later than I think- they never hatch early. I can't wait for them to come out.

My eggs have stayed so steady temp-wise...then for some crazy reason they were at 104 the other day when I turned them. Argh. I see a few moving still, but most are too dark to see in, so crossing fingers they don't all fizzle out. No clue what happened, probably my kids messed with the knob. But i figure if a few are ok, then more might be ok....I have spiked at 102.7 on my therm. before and been fine, but this was much higher

Sphinx have you started any eggs yet? I saw you post you were setting some aside I am excited to see what color your legbar chicks will be.

Blujems how are yours doing? I have saved a few more eggs from Jezibel to put in the incubator She is doing great! She looks just like my Violet, I keep wondering if there is any way she could be a BR instead of a cuckoo marans? She has no feathered feet as far as I can tell. Her eggs are the exact same color too.

so I became brave. Drove to Orem picked up the owl then drove it to Ogden to the wildlife rehab center, They identified it as a small eared owl. It is endangered due to loss of habitat. I owe pictures so here they are.

Diana-All of those pics are amazing! But my favorite is that cute first one, with you and your grandsons. Ha ha you look adorable in your antlers! Your chicken in a sling does not look nearly as happy as the three of you...poor baby!
