Utah!

Sphinx, He set them last night. They are around 50 days for incubation. Kinda a snooze-fest! But it is fun to just look at them, they do resemble what I picture a Dinosaur egg to look like.
I had never heard of West Haven. When I looked it up I was surprised to find it wasn't that far.

I don't know whats up with the egg delivery. Cindee had eggs that too a long time so did I. My Ebay serama eggs just came, Tracking said they were to be delivered last Friday. 4 were broken. I was very disappointed. I have never had that many eggs broken in a shipment. They were in Cartons wrapped in paper towels. I have contacted the seller but not heard back yet.

I got my first soft-shelled egg today. I didn't realize that it was so thin until it broke in my pocket. But, I did find a nice egg from my RIR when I got home

And I threw a bunch of oyster shell in the run for the girls (couldn't find the dish I use) They were happy to have it. Wish I'd have remember it sooner. Oops...........

We finally got snow today. ALL DAY! Checked it when i got home 9". I finally was able to make a new path in the snow out to the coop. The old path was getting a little...fertilized.... And a bonus, when i got home not 1 chicken poop on the porch, in fact i had to rescue my red sex link, a silkie and my bantam ee from under the coop. They don't like to walk in snow. And the bottom half off the ramp was covered with snow. On a good note i got 14 eggs today.

Maybe they got bored and didn't have anything else better to do.

I love snow. It covers up all the chicken doo, if nothing else, heehee! That's really not the only reason why I like it.

One of my Icelandic pullets is teasing me. She's one of the two I got from Hattie, so the youngest ones I have out there. She was getting into the bag of oyster shell and helping herself tonight

Poor Shelia lol~!

I am envious of all your chickens on here picking up pace. Mine have tapered off and not started back again...no broodies at the moment, I can be grateful for that at least :) Also--I have 4 cuckoo marans patterned chick males if anyone wants to grow some roosters out for dinner
